Excellent personnel is on reception desk. The setting is great, it's near to the center of all activites and the centre of Cefalu. You will be about a 10-minute drive from Spiaggia del Porto Vecchio.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to the beach and a short walk to the town center. The staff was very attentive and helpful, providing great assistance with our luggage. The breakfast offerings were impressive, with a variety of hot food and fresh fruit available.

There were a few negatives during our stay. The decor of the hotel was quite outdated, with plastic flowers scattered throughout.

The location is ideal for both sea baths and walks through the old town. Very friendly and responsive staff.

The location of Hotel Riva Del Sole is unbeatable, just a short walk away from the beautiful beach in Cefalu. We loved how convenient it was to cross the street and be right on the beach. Additionally, being close to the center of Cefalu made exploring the town very easy. The fact that we could park for free in the nearby parking lot was a great perk during the busy season.

This hotel has a quiet old word charm.To be honest a bit 'stuffy' It is centrally located and the staff are friendly. Sea view rooms offer a wonderful view of Cefalú and the evening sunset.

Garden view rooms are offered but expect to be looking into private apartments 20 metres opposite. The air conditioning barely works as it would seem every measure is taken to conserve energy, a laudabile endeavour no doubt - but not when it's 35 degrees. The roof garden area has no parasols so don't expect to be doing any sun lounging here. The hotel offers a discount to a private beach, the beach area about 200 metres away costs 15 euro at the weekend for two sunloungers and a parasol with a discount of two euro. Further on down the beach you will find better offers as I did. It would appear the hotel caters for an older, gentile, regular Italian clintelle who on the face of it get prefferential treatment to foreigners in relation to courtesy lifts to train stations etc. and are generally better recieved.

We were warmly received, and the staff was very attentive during our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our breakfast was prepared expertly.

It was new-fashioned, fantastic and on the balcony. The location was marvellous and lovely for me, in a quiet garden area. What's more, it was short walk to restaurants in old harbour area as well as path to La Rocca😀
